Marmette-on-the-Gouin
Outfitter can accommodate approximately 50 fishermen
in 9 camps scattered around this bay at Gouin Reservoir. The
Marmette Bay is in the real wilderness and it is the home
of the best fishing holes. Totem Point, Big Island, Twin Islands,
etc., all these places have more fish in them than the next
one.
Rat
River, which is fed by DorŽ, Lake empties
into the southern part of Marmette Bay and is the most important
spawning ground in the Gouin. This assures you excellent fishing
at the opening in mid-May.
